Get Involved

Learn about the various ways you can get connected with the neuroendocrine cancer community.

Miller Support Group

Named in honor of our long-time support group advocate, the Miller Neuroendocrine Support Group encapsulates what it means to be a survivor, which begins at diagnosis and continues during treatment and through the rest of a person’s life. Living with neuroendocrine cancer is not easy and a support group can help patients and their caregivers navigate the changes and challenges that are the results of their diagnosis and treatment.

As we re-envision our support group model, we welcome your input.  We welcome anyone who is passionate about supporting neuroendocrine cancer patients and their caregivers, in-person or remote.  If you'd like to work with us in establishing locally meaningful support groups and educational sessions, please contact us at info@azncf.org and let us know how you'd like to get involved.

Health Professionals

Health professionals who provide direct care are critical to neuroendocrine patients. Arizona currently has less than 275 practicing oncologists (with the vast majority located in Phoenix and Tucson), so much of the initial interface with patients is not addressed by oncologists, but by family physicians, nurse practitioners, physician assistants, and other health professionals.

If you are a health professional who treats neuroendocrine patients, we'd love to hear about your work, engage with you or your patients in patient education or develop a support group within your community.  We're also available to answer any questions you may have. Contact us at info@azncf.org

Future Health Professionals

Just as patient education is critical, education of future health professionals is important.  As a student, your understanding of neuroendocrine cancer will make you a better health professional in the future. If you're a student interested in learning more about this disease, we would love to hear from you. Please get in touch with us at info@azncf.org
